Suicide Prevention, Intervention, & Postvention

As a school psychologist, educator, and crisis responder, Dr. Apgar has provided training and postvention responses to suicide deaths of students and teachers.  As a lead responder, she has experience guiding district and building leadership through the postvention experience and has trained responders in her district and at the county level.  She was a long-time trainer of the PREPaRE crisis response curriculum developed by the National Association of School Psychologists.  She is also a certified trainer for:
